Senior Magento 2 Engineer

Our client is a German multinational e-commerce company that has taken the market by storm. Through its reverse brand to retail strategy, they are a Munich born brand that currently everyone in retail is talking about.

With 90% of their sales coming through their web products, technology plays an elemental role in their success and next expansion steps.

As part of this expansion they are looking to hire Magento2 Developers for their campus based close to Munich.

The role:

• Build new features for their high traffic E-Commerce products in the AWS cloud
• Bring in your ideas and join this Munich founded brand go global
• Keep to best practices, work in an agile, effective and highly autonomous team in which your opinion matters
• Help us create new services, products and apps from scratch
• Give your input into what technologies we should use for our tech stack

Ideal qualifications:

• You are not new to the world of Software Engineering and would call yourself a Senior with at least 5 years’ experience
• You are not afraid to make mistakes, and are confident to find solutions for any problems that may arise
• You have good experience working in the Backend with a focus on Magento 2
• You are experienced writing tean and testable code in PHP
• A PLUS is a background in E-Commerce platforms and online shops as well as any certificates such as Adobe Certified Expert Developer of Magento Commerce Developer
• You have experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD) and tools such as git, Jenkins, AWS, and Docker
• You have a good command of English. No German required.
