Senior Node.js Developer – Travel Tech

Having navigated the Covid Pandemic successfully, my client within the travel tech space is building a new Engineering team in Munich from scratch. Besides working on the existing web platform, you would get a chance to build new products such as an AI booking Tool to diversity their offering.

The role:

• Senior Web Engineer in a completely new team
• Not only code maintenance but the chance to build 4 new products and bring in your ideas to make them a hit with millions of users across the EU
• Use a modern tech stack: Node.js, JavaScript, React.js, Redux.js
• Work within an agile and continuous delivery environment
• You can choose between a Backend focused role or a Fullstack one.
• As part of the current growth our client are also looking to Fastrack Engineers into Team Leads, should this be of interest
• All starters will get the chance to come and work in the UK Headquarters for an onboarding period (with current vaccine rollout this should be possible by the Summer)

The Ideal Candidate (if there is such a thing)

• You are not new to the world of Software Engineering and would call yourself a Senior Developer with at least 3 years experience
• Your passion goes beyond coding and you desire to also understand the business side of things
• You are not afraid to make mistakes, and are confident to find solutions for any problems that may arise
• You have good experience working in the Backend with Node.js. A Plus is Fullstack experience using React.
• You are familiar with the rest of our tech stack
• You enjoy working in Agile Development Processes
• Good command of English. No German required.
